The Art of Selling Heirlooms

Being a jeweler is one of the best workouts out there, you spend your day hammering  metal, bending tough wire, squatting to get eye level while soldering, and carrying around gallons of miscellaneous chemicals. By the end of the day your hands are calloused and your shoulders ache, yet we're all excited to get back in the studio and do it all over.

What draws us in day-to-day? The fulfillment, that's what. The fulfillment you feel when you see your designs in the grocery store, or when you see your client shed tears of joy or even just knowing you finished something.  Creating a piece of jewelry is fulfilling in so many ways. Every piece of jewelry starts as a stack of different gauge wires and flat sheets of metal just waiting to get cut, filed and fired into something beautiful. It is my job as the jeweler to use these to communicate a story.
